Clark Park Festival

Emily and I will probably be doing some fancy face painting for the neighborhood kids while sipping warm beer, so come out and join us in our little corner of West Philly.

Yup. We did.

I love living in west philly. After Obama got elected everyone in my neighborhood (including Emily and I) freaked the hell out and poured out into the streets. Hootin'. A-hollerin'. Banging pots and pans, dancing jigs, and all manner of Hootinannying. We walked down to 47th and Baltimore and there were a few hundred people chanting and drumming, dizzy with accomplishment.
Anarchists and thugs were waving the american flag with actual, honest-to-goodness pride.
