Emily and I stopped by the Video Game Expo at the convention center on Sunday and holy crap was it lame. I was hoping to show my portfolio and get some contacts, or maybe buy some cheap games and get some giveaways. Nope. Badly organized, no games for sale, no giveaways, and only a handfull of industry people were there. It sucked major choad.
There were a few costumes there. Mostly
star warriors and a few
animeniacs; I got a great shot of Emily getting her neck snapped by some dude in a darth vader costume. And there were a few cool artists there. One cool thing, I got to talk to an awesome guy from Obsidian Entertainment who was giving out portfolio reviews and tips.
